Emotions and their effect on the health of sickle cell patients

Abstract

This thesis aims to critically review selected primary research papers in order to identify the emotions felt by SCD patients and also how the disease burden affected their daily lives, with the prospect that the information will be used to incorporate psychological and behavioral therapy in the future.
