CISG was hoped to boost and increase international commerce. In my opinion, the convention could make it more attractive even for companies, who take smaller part in the world of international commerce. Taking also electronic communication into consideration, with the help of electronic devices and new technical means, CISG and CUECIC applied together can simplify international contracts and can make commerce fluenter than ever. As far as negotiation costs are concerned, CISG is meant to reduce them significantly.
