In my thesis I analysed mother-child relationships in Behind the Scenes at the Museum and The Ice is Singing because they are interesting in a way that these relationships are far from perfect. The first chapter is about the mothers and their ambivalence. In the second chapter the children are in the focus and their inability of attachment.
