I wrote this thesis because I believe that the current situation, in which drug addiction is widespread these days, is dangerous. This thesis focuses mainly on the mechanisms of drug addiction development. It includes the brain's reward system, tolerance, and withdrawal effect. After that, the characteristics of each drug are mentioned. Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics are mainly involved in the chapter.
