dc.description.abstractMalnutrition in Nigeria, its determinants, prevalence in different regions of the country, risk factors associated with the condition, the effects and effective measures to eliminate malnutrition.This study discusses malnutrition in Nigeria, particularly in the northern region where it is more prominent. It provides an insight to the mainstream causes of malnutrition and those specific to Nigeria. the study also evaluates the contribution of school based interventions to the improvement of the nutritional status of school aged children.The findings of this study shows that malnutrition in Nigeria is a very serious health issue.hu_HU
