There are several studies that discussed the benefits of microscopes in endodontics. Although the use of microscopes is trending, it still faces some limitations. This thesis aims to review the fundamental information on the microscopes and divided the major limitations into two categories: clinical and technical limitations that the microscopes face in the endodontic practice.
