Vietnam is a temperate country locating in Southeast Asia, with the total area of 331,698 square kilometers. Bordering by the East Sea, Laos, Cambodia and China, this is the country of more than 90 million civilians living Vietnam (est. 2011). The capital of Vietnam is Hanoi but the country economic center is Ho Chi Minh City. As we know nowadays, coffee is very familiar with people in the world; it is used every day as an indispensable habit to many people. Especially, in the crisis time, people drink more coffee than expected and amount of coffee increase over time for supplying the human needs. The world largest coffee producer and exporter is Brazil, but in the last 6 months, Vietnam surpassed Brazil, became the largest exporter in Robusta coffee. Vietnam is a tropical country, humid wind and rainy. It is also ideal for numbers of plant growth and brings more benefits to the national economy. One of them that we should mention is the coffee plant, which is very familiar to the people of Vietnam and also to all people over the world, especially in the Central Highlands Lam Dong province of Vietnam. Its history of development in Vietnam is quite long and in recent years it has increase income of the nation. Also the coffee export is quite large. Vietnam’s coffee industry is taking an important role in providing the world’s coffee so I chose the subject of Vietnam coffee which will help people better understand about the Vietnam coffee industry like how it operates, the amount in producing and exporting coffee to world’s coffee market, the trends, the weakness and strengths in Vietnam coffee industry. Firstly we will give you an overview about Vietnamese coffee. After that, real situation of production-exporting coffee of Vietnam, the competitiveness and the coffee’s price will be shown as well. You can see the advantages and disadvantages in Vietnam coffee market after knowing basically about Vietnam coffee industry. The last are these challenges of Vietnam coffee in the future and the solution.
