This thesis discusses the intersectionality of race, social class, and gender in The Help by Kathryn Stockett. This issue is analyzed through the three narrators of the novel who come from different racial and social backgrounds based on Kimberlé Crenshaw’s "Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex: A Black Feminist Critique of Antidiscrimination Doctrine, Feminist Theory and Antiracist Politics".
