dc.description.abstractThis thesis examines how parenting styles relate to parental burnout within the broader context of social pressures on motherhood. Using a quantitative design, data from 100 parents were analyzed through standardized measures of parenting styles and burnout. The findings revealed that parental burnout levels were generally low and that there was no statistically significant relationship between parenting styles (authoritative, authoritarian, permissive) and burnout. Additionally, demographic factors such as age, education level, and number of children did not significantly predict burnout levels. Although parenting styles were moderately correlated with each other, they did not directly explain variations in parental burnout. The results suggest that parental burnout is a complex, multidimensional phenomenon influenced by a combination of psychological, social, and environmental factors rather than parenting style alone. The study highlights the importance of variables such as social support, stress, and work-life balance in understanding burnout. Future research is recommended to include these factors for a more comprehensive explanation.
