President Barack Obama’s image has turned into a negative one due to his assessment based on some of his 2008 campaign promises and his inability to keep them. Both in Europe and in the United States, an Obama craze emerged in 2008. He received the Nobel Peace Prize and he promised multilateralism in foreign affairs. In the US, he symbolized democracy and change but he failed to find solutions to certain issues such as gun control, health care for everybody. Surveillance issues in Europe and in the US also reduced his popularity.hu_HU
