Although Burma’s becoming independent of the British Empire was studied by various academic researchers, its colonial history and major role in different historical periods was not explained in details. My intention is to raise interest in my readers to become familiar with Burma’s early history, and its later history in the light of colonialism, as well as describing Burma’s evolution during the colonial years. Another goal of my thesis is to introduce my readers to the idea of a lot more unique Burmese history than people may think, and Burma as a genuine field in the colonial history of the British Empire, as well as its importance in the wartime hostilities of World War Two happenings, focusing mainly on the Chindit War.hu_HU
