| dc.description.abstract | Throughout the years GAS has proven to be a very divers bacterium that continuous to surprise the world both with its complicated pathogenicity as well as the wide disease spectrum.GAS has been intensively studied and shown to possess multiple, multifunctional virulence factors. GAS has shown to have a wide clinical spectrum where complications following GAS infections are also very important. The treatment is composed of giving high doses of penicillin and in recent years, the importance of co-administration of Clindamycin has been proven especially in invasive infections. | hu_HU |
