Technology and frontiers are inseparable and interdependent throughout the history of the USA. Frontiers in American culture which can be bound to certain historical periods marked the turning points of progress and evolution of technology. The exploration and occupation of each frontier has its own symbol embodied by technological inventions. The dimensions of frontiers have been changed from geographical through air and space to cyberspace – also called virtual reality or digital world – and artificial intelligence. These expansions have been made possible by the railway, aviation, the satellite, the spaceship, the computer and the Internet.hu_HU
