The general content of this paper is as follows. Firstly, I introduced the definition of internationally recognized high-tech products and analyzed the reasons for the Sino US trade war from a theoretical perspective. Subsequently, the trade history of high-tech products between China and the United States was explained. By analyzing the trade structure of high-tech products between China and the United States and the development of domestic industries in China, the causes of the trade war were further identified.
