The Vietnam War influenced most of the American society seriously. Lots of families had casualties or badly wounded relatives: fathers, husbands, and sons. They had to cope with the loss or “lameness” of their loved ones. However, life for those who had been to the “Hell” was even more difficult. (Introduction)
