dc.description.abstractBackground: Cardiovascular disease is the most common and yet one of the most preventable causes of death. Control of CVD risk factors is far from optimal in the population and only a minority of patients with CVD risk factors achieved target goals for low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels or BP. Objectives: the aim of this work is to know the most important cardiovascular diseases risk factors (CVDRFs) and how to manage these factors. Results and Conclusions: the most common CVDFs a family history of premature CAD, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, obesity, cigarette smoking, sedentary lifestyle, and hypertension. Management of CVDRF including immediate termination of smoking and having free smoking and pollution environment, and lifestyle modifications including healthy diet and organized physical activity in schools and at home and treatment of hypertension, DM and hyperlipidemia.hu_HU
