Absztrakt
Laboratory monitoring of direct factor Xa inhibitor novel oral anticoagulants (DOAC) is not mandatory however, it is useful in certain clinical situations including acute care, especially before interventional procedures. When the standard laboratory method, anti-factor Xa assay (anti-FXa) is hardly available use of point of care methods, like viscoelastic tests may be a good alternative. Our aims were to investigate the effects of rivaroxaban (RIVA) and apixaban (API) on Russel’s viper venom induced clotting parameters on the ClotPro analyzer and to make a comparison with anti-FXa assay.
