Thai speakers can break through the formality and gender constraint attached to each pronoun. The multifaceted nature of Thai pronouns to cross the boundary of formality and gender illustrate the flexible characteristics. Therefore, I would like to investigate the flexibility of Thai pronouns in social usage and gender aspects.
