Economic Success or Social Failure?

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to examine if the Thatcher governments had achieved great economic goals combined with general prosperity or these achievements had largely been overshadowed by serious social failures, inequality and poverty. The question is whether this regime meant an economic success or social failure.
