dc.description.abstractThe thesis focuses on the lesser talked about areas where globalization negatively affects the world. In the thesis, the scenario is depicted from the perspective of Bangladesh. It focuses on the economic disparity, labour exploitation, cultural degradation, and environmental damage globalization has caused in the country. The objective was to make the readers understand the multifaceted effects globalization can have when it gets the opportunity to take from the lesser economically independent countries. Being a citizen of Bangladesh myself, the thesis serves as a window of my personal experiences of the dark side of globalization. The thesis researches, digs deeper into the facts brings out how the negativity is affecting Bangladesh and recommends how the country can try to get out of it with the help of the local government and the civil population together.
