This article reviews the developing pharmacotherapy for COVID-19, especially the medications that haven't been proved to be effective but are currently undergoing multiple clinical trials. Pharmacological agents focused in this article are favipiravir, interferon beta, IL-1 inhibitors (anakinra and canakinumab), and ivermectin.
