The aim of my thesis is to show the importance of personal relationships, mainly the relations between men and women. I chose two well-known novels by Ernest Hemingway: A Farewell to Arms and The Sun Also Rises, for my analysis. I chose them because of the fact that although the two women’s lives are different, both of them are complex and interesting personalities.
