dc.description.abstractThe paper discusses the differnces and similarities in discourse marker usage in English and Hungarian. The basis of the paper is a study which was conducted by analyzing Hungarian and English discourse markers that appeared in two talk shows, one American and one English. The findings revealed that the two languageas use these markers similarly, for similar functions, however, some minor differences were found.hu_HU
