In my thesis, among others, I am going to write about these thought-provoking questions connected to the representation of serial killers on Hollywood screen. In my essay, I am going to give an overview of the mind of a serial murderer and of the history of the serial killer movies and I am going to analyze the killer characters of three famous American movies which are dealing with a male, a female and a couple serial killer. The thesis of this paper is that it is impossible to represent serial killers in the same way because their activities and their Modus Operandi (M.O.) – method of operation – are influenced by their gender or by a partner.hu_HU
