| dc.description.abstract | Nanomedicine, one of the most active research areas of nanotechnology, is rapidly being applied to the imaging, diagnosis, and therapy of a variety of diseases. Its role in cancer therapy has been particularly promising. With the advantage of using nanoparticles, one can hope to achieve increased drug efficacy and reduced side effects.
