Nanomedicine, one of the most active research areas of nanotechnology, is rapidly being applied to the imaging, diagnosis, and therapy of a variety of diseases. Its role in cancer therapy has been particularly promising. With the advantage of using nanoparticles, one can hope to achieve increased drug efficacy and reduced side effects. Health risks and ethical implications that come with such a vanguard technique have been discussed as well.hu_HU
