This essay on one hand examines the significance of Rosa Parks and the reason why she is identified with the Montgomery Bus Boycott of 1955. The rest of the thesis is about the events that led to the Civil Rights Movement, namely the Jim Crow sytem of the South, segregation rules, famous Supreme Court Decisions and the African-American Communities determination to fight against racial discrimination.
