In my thesis, I shall analyse primarly the presence of drug addiction, in the British TV series Skins. The domestic and social milieu, their middle-class families and the reasons why their parents seem not to care about their children, the factors that led these teenagers to use certain substances, how they could become obsessed and their inability to escape from it.
