I want to establish the truth of the American ideology that the United States inherently believed in its power and was destined or divinely ordained to expand across Western America and the North American continent in order to unite the nation and it did not matter how. In my essay I would like to touch upon individual lives, destinies and tragedies in order to make the real story of the transcontinental railroad more intelligible and among other things I want to present this great construction with critical eyes.
