Translating EU Terminology

Abstract

My dissertation deals with the terminology of The European Union. My thesis contains various newspaper articles from the Internet on various prominent issues concerning the views of the EU on Hungary. To somewhat limit the scope of my research, I chose two important areas, namely the Hungarian media and the economic sphere of the country. To prove the comprehension of the given articles I decided to collect the important expressions from the text, more precisely, the relevant EU terminology itself. By the end of each chapters, I draw conclusions with regard to how the European Union sees Hungary’s position in the last couple of years.
