Absztrakt

The use of targeted therapy to inhibit tyrosine kinases, as a form of cancer chemotherapy is one of the major medical advances in the past decade. Tyrosine kinases activate many signal transduction cascades by adding a phosphate group to proteins and their inhibition has been shown to be effective against certain tumors. Uncontrolled activity of tyrosine kinases can result in inflammation and diseases like cancer, atherosclerosis, and psoriasis. This makes the development of tyrosine kinase inhibitors that can be used to treat clinical disorders very useful in our clinical practice.
