This literature review explores the currently available and potential pharmacotherapies targeting psoriasis, as well as the underlying pathomechanism and associated risk factors. The treatment options discussed are the biologics, phototherapy, vitamin D analogs, and topical agents, along with their side effects and performance in clinical trials.
