Their affinity and potency typically range from nanomolar to picomolar concentrations, though variations across experiments present challenges in accurately interpreting data and establishing hierarchy within this drug class. Clinical efficacy data from numerous randomized clinical trials emphasize VEGF-A as the primary targetable factor in conditions like neovascular age-related macular degeneration
