Absztrakt
The economic relationship between the EU and Tunisia is examined in the thesis, with particular attention paid to trade potential, obstacles, and strategies for strengthening integration. The 1995 Association Agreement between Tunisia and the EU increased commerce but also brought attention to the country's reliance on low-value exports, which resulted in a sustained trade deficit. Although possible effects on regional businesses raise concerns, the goal of negotiations for a Deep and Comprehensive Free commerce Area (DCFTA) is to increase commerce into new areas. Key obstacles are identified in the study, including China's competition, fundamental economic problems, and a lack of trade diversification. The thesis offers tactics for a more equitable EU-Tunisia collaboration using a mixed-method approach.
