The topic of my thesis is the Journey of Richard I, King of England, during the Third crusade. Many have written about this era, since it is a very rewarding topic, considering the almost literary alignment of conditions, which is very rare in history: two extraordinary leaders competing for the same majestic goal. That is why, besides the chronology, I concentrated only on certain debated, controversial issues, like the personality of Richard, his role as a king, the execution of the Acre garrison or the assassination of Konrad of Montferrat.hu_HU
