In my thesis I have formed an overview of the current drugs being used in anticoagulation therapy, their pharmacology and their uses in modern day medicine. Throughout the years advancements in anticoagulative therapy have changed the field of medicine for the better, however there are still some gaps which I have also touched on in this thesis.
