The thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of unfair terms in consumer contracts, with a particular focus on European Union Member States. It examines the evolution of consumer protection laws in light of key EU court cases and legislative developments. The research also explores how different countries have implemented the EU Directive into their national laws and evaluates the effectiveness of these approaches. Furthermore, the thesis highlights the importance of consumer education and offers practical recommendations to strengthen current enforcement mechanisms and enhance consumer protection within the EU.
