Absztrakt

This study investigates the prevalence of Extended-Spectrum Beta-lactamase (ESBL) and AmpC Beta-lactamase-producing Enterobacterales in White Storks (Ciconia ciconia). By analyzing these microbial resistance patterns in a migratory bird species, the research highlights the role of wildlife as potential reservoirs and vectors for antimicrobial resistance. These findings contribute to the One Health perspective, emphasizing the environmental and ecological dimensions of antibiotic resistance transmission between wildlife, ecosystems, and human populations
