This paper analyses total fertility rates from 40 selected countries over period 1960-2015. Results show the manifestation of population change from high fertility rate to stabilization, further towards sub-replacement level, and the recent reverse. Discusses the comparisons of different means in fertility rate measure, uses scenarios together with literatures, reasoning the fertility rate behaviours behind the individual and population level decisions. Finally elaborates the relationship between population and the environment.hu_HU
