It provides an overview of asthma bronchiale, outlines key pathophysiological mechanisms, and reviews both traditional therapies and emerging biologic and investigational treatments. Furthermore, it highlights the recent paradigm shift in asthma management from symptom-based to mechanism-driven strategies, emphasizing the role of patient-specific endotypes and precision-based individualized therapy.
