| dc.description.abstract | In my thesis I am going to restrict my investigation to a register of English used by a particular community, namely the authors of book reviews. I would like to deal with a particular type of register: the language of a specific genre of the academic community; the language of academic book reviews. Its aim is to persuade members of the community to buy and read an academic book. Book reviews are frequently used genre of scientific prose. | hu_HU |
