Occupational stress in healthcare is a worldwide problem. Recently it has increased due to COVID-19 pandemic affecting the mental health and wellbeing of physicians and nurses across the world. Occupational stress can be caused by many factors such as lack of medical equipments, poor working conditions, lack of professional skills and low social support. During COVID-19 pandemic healthcare workers in Syria are facing many challenges under very stressful conditions because of war and lack of medical infrastructure, this makes them susceptable to mental health illness and burn-out.
