I have done my thesis about Recent results with immune checkpoint inhibitors in advanced stage non small cell lung cancer. In my thesis I discuss the application of Immun-oncotherapy as a current hot area for Cancer therapy. Drugs that target PD-1, PD-1L and CTLA-4 are currently highly investigated for the treatment of various cancers including Non-small cell lung cancer. Currently Two PD-1 Inhibitors are FDA approved for such indication and hopefully in the near future many more will become incorporated into the standard current regimen of NSCLC therapy.
