Moldova has a special status in the world, hesitating in 2018 in which direction to develop, to turn to: shall they choose the european or the eurasian integration? What kind of external effects shall they fight with? The thesis aims to highlight present geopolitical situation of Moldova objectively concerning the effects on it from different integrations. Overall objective is to show differences of foreign strategic interests in the region in the context of Moldovan interests. Two main options are available for the poor country which deliberately seeks for financial support. The author makes efforts to put these external vectors together. One of the options is to integrate into one of the largest single market of the world, which is called European Union. The other is to take part in the adventurous project lead by Moscow, but based on European experiences. What are the adventages and disadventages of these options? What are the consequences of their choice? What are the milestones of the so far reached cooperations? Integrational questions are related to statehood
