This study aimed to collect and analyze data from the original population residing in Al-Thawra neighborhood and from the displaced population migrated into this district, on the occurrence of the common non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and related risk factors.This study showed the displacement status, and the studied modifiable risk factors have a significant relationship with the prevalence of studied NCDs. This reflects alarming public health concerns and future needs that require immediate interventions, especially rehabilitating the infrastructure of the healthcare system, preparing well-trained medical staff, and creating a more developing Syrian health policy.
