This thesis discusses the application of Transcranial Doppler Sonography in the fields of critical care and anesthesiology. It highlights the mechanism of cerebrovascular hemostasis. It includes a study which was conducted at the university to show the effects of altered oxygenation on the cerebrovascular system.
