dc.description.abstractCardiac rehabilitation is a well-structured program that provides the best attainable physical, mental and social conditions in patients that suffered from coronary heart diseases. The program has various phases beginning from the inpatient setting and last from a few weeks to a life-time. Many components constitute the rehabilitation program, with exercise training being a pivotal part of the program. Furthermore, to achieve the best outcome the program comprises a multidisciplinary team that work together to provide the highest quality of care and ensure a quick recovery, short hospital stay and prevent recurrence of the initial event or its consequences.
