The efficacy of HPV vaccination.
Absztrakt
HPV infection is the second most common cause of infection worldwide via sexual contact. Cervical cancer of uterus is the fourth most common malignancy in women of all ages. The younger the age at which the HPV vaccine is given, the more effective it is, with the vaccine being 91-100% effective when given at 11-12 years of age. The efficiency is decreased with advancing age at administration.
