Elastography is a novel ultrasound technique which has been gaining a lot of attention in recent years. It is still a developing ultrasound technique that has evolved into a clinically useful technique in ultrasound machines. It provides stiffness measurements of investigated tissues, with four main methods in our days. Since many pathological conditions alter the tissues’ structure and change stiffness, this modality can improve diagnosis with greater confidence.hu_HU
