The thesis reasearches central bank digital currency application in Kazakhstan and Norway. The research is of the secondary type and a lot of relevant literature is analyzed in the paper. In the end there are recommendations and possible solutions to shortcomings of central bank digital currency application. All in all the paper analyzes two countries in a comparative manner when it comes to digital currency field.
