The controlling could be the solution for the profit oriented companies that’s why it is possible that the Debreceni Campus Non-profit Public Utility Company has analysed its entities in every quarter of a year to raise the entities’ profitability and by this the company’s profitability as well. In my thesis first I have analysed the company’s position then I have examined the current controlling system that operates at the company’s life nowadays. My aim was to examine, implement, compare the current company business evaluation methods and reveal their advantages, dysfunctions. Hopefully, I could draw useful conclusions from the different company values calculated with different methods. From the results I planed to choose the most suitable method for the company and to increase the value of the company. In my thesis work, I have used the different company evaluation methods. There is a wide range of these methods, but I have chosen the most relevant ones. After having a look at these methods I planed to apply them in practice. After the introductory section of my thesis work, I started my analysis with the company business evaluation methods. I processed the data of the Hungarian company by applying these methods.   The methods I planed to use can be categorized as follows:

• traditional company business evaluation methods,
• methods working with financial information from the annual report,
• other methods. I wanted to focus on revealing those factors that cause the main / major distortions. I also planed to examine what the different company values mean to the company itself and of course I wanted to find that special methodology that fits the company’s and the sector’s requirements.
